You are gay if...
You are primarily sexually attracted to persons
of the same sex. That's it. No other behaviors, fantasies, or
dreams have anything to do with whether you are gay or not. If you
dream from time to time about a homosexual encounter it does not
mean you're gay. If you are artistic, like to dance, and aren't
afraid of raising your elbows above your shoulders on the dance
floor, it does not mean you're gay. However, if are sexually
attracted to others of the same sex the majority of the time you
probably are gay.
Lesbian A woman who has
a homosexual attraction to women.
Homosexual A person who is primarily
sexually attracted to the same sex.
Bisexual A person who is sexually attracted
to both men and women.
To be gay, or not to be gay. That is the question?
Opinions conflict as to why an individual has
a certain sexual preference. Some scientists believe it's mainly
determined by genetic makeup, while others believe environmental
influences and experiences ultimately determine an individual's
sexual orientation. Still others believe it's a combination
of these two things that determine an individuals sexual preference.
