Nose Bleed

Prevention:

  • Don't pick your nose.

Treatment:

  • Lean forward and pinch the soft spot of your nose for 5 minutes. Leaning backward will allow the blood to flow down your throat, resulting in an upset stomach. Bleeding usually comes from the front part of the nose. Leaning forward allows the blood to flow out of the wound, which helps clotting to occur.
